What does it cost to use elements.biz services?
Using elements.biz compares favourably with the alternatives.
Freelancers have a choice of subscriptions and/or commissions that are payable to elements.biz for work that takes place on the platform. These are designed to reflect the requirements of occasional, short-term or long-term skills providers.
In either case, our aim is that the platform creates such significant value in tools, resources, efficiency and time savings that the costs are more than covered. The platform exists to create value for all parties.
Can I meet with my freelancer?
Yes. Freelancers are available for online or in-person* meetings should you wish. We feel that although our aim is to work online as much as possible, there is nothing like being able to review work face-to-face from time to time. Our platform makes scheduling a meeting easy, giving you an in-house feel from an outsourced solution.
*Note that for niche or regulated services, freelancers may be based further afield.
Who is elements.biz?
Above all, elements.biz is a great example of our ‘performance ecosystem’ in action. To the fullest extent possible, our freelancers occupy every role within the organisation, ensuring that all of the ‘elements’ are covered by our ‘in-house, outsourced’ solution. Our ongoing development is a testament to their hard work, and living proof of our concept.
Conceived by Savoie-based entrepreneur Adam Breen during his Executive MBA studies at EM Lyon, elements.biz was nurtured by mountain industry specialist Abi Morris with help from marketer and entrepreneur Carine Meunier and financial expert Yann Bertrand. In 2022, project manager and entrepreneur Jonathan Coll joined Adam and Abi as SAS elements.biz was officially established.
The hard work of our freelance community, numerous projects at one of France’s most prestigious business schools and the input of business owners across the region have contributed to our success. We are eternally grateful to everyone who has been involved.
What other fees should I anticipate?
Clients that require their freelancer to travel more than a short distance/period of time will be required to pay reasonable associated expenses. Clients or freelancers that require access to niche software or licenses that are not openly available on our platform should also anticipate additional costs. All parties are liable for their own internet/hardware costs. Full details are available in our Terms of Business.
